Inventory / Testing Database System
A Michigan based company with the task of testing automotive components for Chinese electric cars came to Michigan Barcode for help. The company needed a way to store part and various test information for the thousands of parts that they needed to certify. The solution was to incorporate barcode asset tags, a Motorola Symbol LS4278 wireless bluetooth scanner, and a custom database. The system allows all parts information to be quickly entered into the system and to track testing history on every part. The parts can easily pull up part information simply by scanning the bar code asset tag that is attached to the part. The Motorola / Symbol LS4278 scanner allows the user the freedom to scan anywhere in their testing lab without having to worry about cords or cumbersome wires. Time was a pressing issue for this company and Michigan Barcode delivered. We were able to design, test, deliver, and train the customer in 9 days from start to finish.
